1 and 1/2 years later

 Now a year and half later he can still fit into the same pajamas.



Black Cockatoo

We woke up this morning to a family of black cockatoos screeching across the street.  They are so loud! 

Can you see how they eat with the help of their feet?  Pretty awesome!

The black cockatoo's crest is smaller and only black unlike the white cockatoo who has a really large crest on it's head.

The black cockatoos are really large, even larger than the white ones.

Beautiful right?!

The black cockatoo has a distinct way of flying. Unlike other birds the black cockatoo does not flap very often, it kind of glides across the sky. 

They looks so majestic while flying.

Pretty amazing if you ask me.

Fashion Advice

Here are some fashion tips from a very stylish four year old.

1. The more patterns the better - plaid and stripes are a match made in heaven.

2. A reversable vest, camo on one side and green on the other,  goes with everything.

3. Always wear gum boots, no matter how hot it is outside. 

4. If you can wear goggles, wear them!

I just want to say Happy Mother's Day to my two favorite Mums.

Thank you Lisa for raising such a wonderful son.  Thank you for being such a great mother - in - law and Nanna.  I love you so much!

Saturday Outing

This weekend we went on a really fun outing!  We drove south across the sea cliff bridge (pictured bellow).  It was hard to get a good picture of the bridge, unfortunately this is my best picture.  The drive was so beautiful!  On one side cliffs on the other side the ocean.

After the bridge we kept on driving south along the ocean through small beach towns.

 We made a lot of stops along the way and enjoyed our beautiful surroundings.  Our first stop was at a little bridge over a river that lead to the ocean - aww so beautiful!

The kids had fun running, or in Westly's case taking his time, across the bridge

 Bridger had fun too but didn't stay too long on the bridge.  He decided jumping from large rock to large rock was the best activity.

 We drove a little further to a beach and played for a long while in the stream leading to the ocean (ooo so cold!)

 The cold didn't seem to bother either kid, both would have swam in the water if we would have let them. (on a side note the ocean water was not cold, it was actually nice and warm)

 and this is the view to my right.  Beautiful right?  Goodness!  We went to 2 other beaches after this one but they weren't as beautiful as this beach, so sorry no pictures.

 We headed over and walked along the slippery rocks

Isn't the water so beautiful?! Look at the beautiful blue color!

I love the cliffs along the ocean it is so gorgeous!   

 I just love the ocean!  I am pretty sure there is nothing better for the soul than the sight of the ocean.
