Bath Time

I took some pictures of the boys in the bath last night.  (When I say bath I really mean utility sink since we don't have a bath here.)  I think the pictures are super cute so enjoy!

Westly sat on my pile of clean laundry and played with the plug to the sink while Forest was in the bath.  Silly boy!

While West was in the bath Forest played with the water in the sink and laughed at himself in the mirror.  He apparently think he is hilarious because he was cracking up!

While taking pictures of the boys I snapped this one of the bathroom.  I just hung up those two frames with pictures of the boys in the bath. It is funny how two frames can totally change the feel of a room.  I now really like the look of this bathroom.

Happy (Australian) Father's Day

I just want to express my gratitude and love for Bridger this Father's Day.  He is one amazing father!  All of us admire and love him so much.

It is so touching to hear Forest talk with pride about his awesome Dad who can do so many cool things and I love to watch Westly get a backpack and pretend as if he is going to work, just like his Dad. 

My boys are so lucky to have such a caring and loving father who holds the priesthood and who is such a good example of all things a good man should be.

 Bridger, I love you so much and I hope you know how much we all appreciate and love you.

What we've been up to

It has been ages since I have blogged.  I keep forgetting to take pictures of what we have been up to.  Today I  looked through our pictures over the last 2 months and there are hardly any but I do have a few gems to share with you.

For the last two months we have been sick with colds, earaches, crazy rashes, upset stomachs, etc.  I am so sick of being sick!

In between all our sicknesses we have been having a good time with friends.

 Forest was seriously a pro at this obstacle course -  I was so impressed!

 We went to a really fun dress up birthday party.

 I lack costumes in Westly's size so Westly was dressed as a homeless man, stubble and all.

 We have had fun movie nights with great friends

We have played with sensory boxes.

 We have been super silly!

And we have had fun family home evenings.

Swim Class

Forest has started swim lessons. Over the past months he has become so much more brave and confident in the water.  I have loved watching his progression.

He has become faster at swimming

 In this photo he was able to keep right up with his teacher (who was walking really fast) all by himself.  It is  a hard task for such tiny, skinny legs.

 His teacher has been AMAZING!  He is so patient with the 3 crazy boys in his class and does an amazing job at balancing all 3 of them.

 Forest can swim on his own for about 4 strokes.  He could swim further but needs to build up his confidence to do so.

Now the following four pictures are amazing, especially if you know where Forest started at.  When he first started swim lessons he HATED going on his back.

In this photo Forest is coming up from going under the rope, this no longer scares him like it did at first.

 Here are the three boys after swim class.  It has been really great for Forest to have the older boys in his class who he loves and looks up to.  Watching them jump and swim in the water, I think, has inspired Forest to love the water too.

5 Years

This year Bridger and I celebrated our 5 year Anniversary!   

It has been an AMAZING 5 years, full of so much happiness and love.  I feel so blessed to be married to Bridger, he is such a fantastic husband and father. 

I am one very lucky girl.

 Our trip up to Cairns was our anniversary present to each other and so on our actual anniversary we kept it rather low key.

 We went out to our favorite dumpling restaurant - the BEST dumplings I have ever ever ever had.

(plus we had a coupon so an extra bonus)

After dinner we wondered around Sydney and took pictures of ourselves, we are pretty awesome like that.

 Bridger is totally cracking up here because he hurt himself while taking the photos.. I love this picture of him laughing, he is so handsome.

 After taking the jumping photos we headed up to the Sydney eye tower to take in the beautiful views.  Do you see the Harbour Bridge?

It was the perfect way to celebrate our Anniversary, I love being able to spend time together just the two of us.  We really are meant for each other.
