Summer is on its way

Spring is here and it has been so beautiful and warm!

On Wednesday we headed to the beach after picking Forest up from school, and had a blast playing in the sand and sun.

It takes West a while to warm up to the sand.  He will play on the steps for a good 10 minutes before he will actually sit in the sand.

Forest called this his "stylish face".

Now Westly is in the sand.

I tried to convince the boys to get their feet wet but both protested...  

I don't blame them, the water was freezing!

Let Summer Begin!

Out and About

A couple Saturdays ago we had a really fun day out and about Sydney.    

We walked across the Sydney Harbour  Bridge,

and climbed on the bridge

and enjoyed the view from the bridge...

all the while looking totally awesome.

Then we went to a really fun park and played for a while.

We then walked along the water front

I love these gigantic trees!  Look how tiny Bridger and West are!!

Bridger of course did some climbing

And Forest was eaten by Queen Victoria!  Yikes!

After a ferry ride back to the other side of the harbour, we headed to the Australia Museum.

The skeletons were totally interesting

Westly passed out on the way to the museum and slept through most of it.

Forest's favorite section was the dinosaur exhibit.

ROAR!

After this our camera died so unfortunately we don't have pictures of the rest of the museum or of our adventures through Hyde Park.  So you will just have to believe me that it was awesome and a lot of fun!

Bath Time

I took some pictures of the boys in the bath last night.  (When I say bath I really mean utility sink since we don't have a bath here.)  I think the pictures are super cute so enjoy!

Such an adorable 4 year old!  When did he get so big?!

Westly sat on my pile of clean laundry and played with the plug to the sink while Forest was in the bath.  Silly boy!

While West was in the bath Forest played with the water in the sink and laughed at himself in the mirror.  He apparently think he is hilarious because he was cracking up!

While taking pictures of the boys I snapped this one of the bathroom.  I just hung up those two frames with pictures of the boys in the bath. It is funny how two frames can totally change the feel of a room.  I now really like the look of this bathroom.

 Back to the boys!  Here is Westly in the bath.
