Merry Christmas

This picture cracks me up with how homely they look!

We will be Christmas-ing it up the next few days. Including: only wearing Winter sweaters, drinking lots of hot chocolate, looking at lots and lots of Christmas lights, going to a live nativity, and spending all our time as a family.

No Need For A Puppy

Mr. Bridger Field CPA

Yesterday afternoon we received a letter from the Oregon Board of Accountancy and I, being the impatient person that I am, could not wait for Bridger to come home and open the envelope so I opened it on the spot.

All his hard work and sacrifice has paid off and we are finally done with that awful test!The kids and I brought flowers, some chocolates and sparkling cider along with Bridger's letter of congratulations to Bridger at work and had a mini celebration!

SNOW DAY...

On Monday night it snowed and all of the Portland area shut down.

With such an upset you would think there would be tons of snow...

WRONG!

There was probably less than 1/8 of an inch, but that didn't stop Forest and I from trying to play in it.

Forest was so excited all morning to play in the snow..

This was his face once we were outside and he realized how little snow there was.This is Forest "playing" in the snow I actually had to tell Forest to play in the snow.. to say the least he was a little confused on how to do this with so little.In the end Forest decided jumping off rocks was more fun than playing in the snow

Yeah he is a pretty cool kid!

Forest Wisdom

Here are just a few of my favorite quotes from Forest over the last couple months.

• During the sacrament at Church I was telling Forest to think about Jesus. Forest leans over to me and whispers, "Jesus is sleeping actually."
• One morning I told Forest that I needed to fix his hair he looks at me puzzled and asked, "Is it broken?"
• When finding out what lint was Forest exclaims to me, "I LOVE LINT! IT IS SO SOFT!"
• (When the following conversation took place Forest was only wearing a diaper) I gave Forest some money and told him to go put the money in his piggy bank up stairs because he had no pockets to hold it in. Forest then tells me, as if I were crazy, "I have a diaper mom."
• After dinner, while playing on the ground, Westly crawled up on Forest and some how scratched or poked Forest's eye. Forest then cried out to me in pain, "Mom I need my carrots my eye hurts!"
• At dinner one night I asked Forest if he liked his ham. Forest answered, "No to me it is chicken."
