Jesse James Park

Two weekends ago we went to Eugene to hangout with my sister Anna and her fam. We had a great time with them (minus Westly not sleeping at all during the night).

On Saturday we went to a really fun park that Anna's boys call the "Jesse James park". Part of the park has an "old town" feel with a jail, courthouse, hotel, etc.. Anyways, we all had a blast at the park and while visiting Anna.

(the first couple pictures are not from the Jesse James park they are actually from a different park just down a walk way from the park) Anna's boys love their Uncle Bridger. They think he is the coolest guy ever. It's easy to see why..

Even with no sleep Westly was still the happiest baby!

We are really sad Anna is moving at the end of this month. It has been so fun to have her living so close.

Soccer man

Today Forest has his first ever soccer class! He has been so excited to start and insisted that he wear his exercise shorts all day, even though his class is not till the afternoon.

March Madness

So I have been wanting to do several different blogs about what we have been up to, but it is just easier to do one gigantic blog.

Several weeks ago Forest's awesome big cousin, Peter, gave Forest his train sets!

Forest has been in train heaven!

Yay for the coolest mom who makes super awesome train tracks! Westly has gotten into the train fun too!

It is so cute seeing Westly follow Forest's lead.

I am amazed that Westly has already figured out how to ride the train along the tracks and make a chhhhhhh sound to go with it.

Both my boys love books! On Library days I hardly see or hear Forest, all he wants to do is sit and "read" his new books.

I often find Westly squeezed between the couch and our bookshelf pulling down books and looking through them.

At the beginning of the month Forest and I did this cute March craft.(can you see Forest's little handprints?)

A new chapter has started in Forest's life: using the computer.

I have been very reluctant to let Forest play or even touch my computer but I broke down and taught him how to use the mouse a couple weeks ago. He seriously caught on in like .2 seconds and now can drag pictures and do puzzles. It was fun to watch him catch on so quickly.

He only plays on starfall.com and is only allowed to play while I cook dinner, if he has had no accidents that day. Anyways I think he is one awesome kid! Last weekend I made these cute pillow covers for my couch.

The old ones were VERY battered. I love the new bright look the colors give my couch!

My big question of the day: How do you keep a stinkin' climber off chairs, tables, and pretty much everything?

Our Little Busy Bee

Westly is a very busy one year old. He has lots of work to do,

Many emails to read,

And several important documents to write.

Please don't bother the genius at work.

Snow Day

Yesterday it snowed!

We suited up

(Westly could not move)And headed outside for some fun!

(We don't have a sled. I got the idea to use a hamper from Bridger's cousin Sarah.. it worked Great!) Bridger got to join in on the snow day fun before heading off to work a little late. Look how cute they are!!! Yay for a fun Dad!

The Basket

I am not sure why I buy toys for my kids when all they want to play with is either the box or, in this case, the basket which holds the toys.

I seriously could eat Westly up he is so cute!
