Portland Bridge Pedal

Last weekend Bridger participated in the Portland Bridge Pedal where he, and thousands of other Portland-ites, were able to enjoy the beauty of Portland by bike. In the picture bellow is only a small part of the line ready for the ride to begin.In the picture bellow the bikers are actually biking on a major freeway that goes through Portland.This is I-405 or the Freemont Bridge (the prettiest bridge in Portland in my opinion)On two of the major bridges there were refreshmentsand live music.Bridger loved loved loved the Bridge Pedal and said it was one of the most amazing events he has participated in here in Portland. We have come to really love Portland the last three years and are really going to miss this amazing and very unique city.

I took this awesome photo! I think it's pretty cool. I am not as cool as Bridger with the underwater photos. This is my 3rd or 4th try and it is way better than all the others. I can't help but squint my eyes.

So for about a half hour Bridger kept trying to use the self timer to get a good photo of himself diving in the pool but was unable to time it just right. So he settled for a video of him diving. It's pretty awesome.

Family Reunion Greatness

2 weeks ago we went to the Weimer Family Reunion. I had so much fun talking with my sisters, following Westly, eating smores, and scootering that there was little time for taking pictures. Here are the few pictures I did take.

Our awesome new tent - it is wonderful to no longer camp in a 2 man tent with 4 people.Bridger started almost all the fires at camp. He did whatever it took to start and maintain a fire, including throwing a cinder block and rope over a branch to pull it down - YIKES! Mountain Man aka Bridger I unfortunately did not take any pictures of Katie and Forest playing together (they were so cute) but I did snap this photo of beautiful Katie and her cute curls!

At camp we celebrated Wendy's birthday. I of course did not take any photos of Wendy on her birthday (sorry I am a bad sister) but I did take these of Forest enjoying the birthday cake. That's right that is frosting in his hair.

The reunion was such a blast! I can't wait for the next one in 2013.

Warning: this blog post is pretty random. I have been meaning to post these pictures for quite sometime I just haven't had time until now.

Westly is a silly boy and for some reason loves an open door, drawer or dishwasher. If he hears the door to the fridge open he will come as fast as he can in hopes that he will be able to start pulling out the ketchup, mustard and anything he can get his hands on. When I am doing the dishes I quietly open the dishwasher and load it in hopes that Westly doesn't try and take over... I have yet to succeed.

Westly also loves his bike. As soon as I open the garage door he immediately goes for his bike, sits on it and waits till it's time to go. He can't quite reach the ground but he will push down on the front tire with his feet and move himself backwards.

Westly's newest trick with his bike is pushing it with no help- He gets mad at me if I try and help him.The last 2 pictures are kind of old but they are cute of Forest and Bridger playing.

Superhero in the House

If you ask Forest which super hero he is he will respond, "Superman, Batman, Wolverine, Ironman, a Robot, and Spiderman" - There are just too many cool super heroes to choose just one.

Bridger's Mom found this great shirt for Forest. He absolutely positively loves it! Thanks Nana!Every super hero has a side kick and so it is with 'superman-batman-ironman-wolverine-robot-spiderman' (or you can call him Forest for short). Forest's side kick Moe has been there for him since he was just a newborn and is still always by his side.
