GULLY GULLY GULLY GULLY!!!

The last few days have been really exciting with Forest!! He has developed such a cute personality and has started to smile ALOT! It just makes my whole day when he flashes me one of his adorable smiles! I tried to upload a video of him talking and smiling with us but was not able to. Hopefully in a day or two i will be able to upload the video so stay posted!

Forest

Having a baby has totally turned my life around. I can now run on very little sleep, it's a good thing Forest is so dang cute otherwise I would not be as willing to wake up every 3-4 hours at night! He is so amazing and perfect! I just love the little guy! Today he is 3 weeks and 3 days old! he has gained 5 oz. from his birth weight, can do the YMCA, and is as cute as a button! He really is the cutest baby I have ever seen! It is fun to be a mom, a little tiring and a hard some days but overall I love it! I still can't believe that Forest is MY baby! He still sleeps a lot but it so special to have him rest on my chest and to listen to his soft breathing! He is just so precious!

I don't know how much longer i can put this paper off before i get too stressed out and anxious that i will finally break down and start it! I have been meaning to start it all week but i have always found something better or "more important" to do; like watching Space Balls- this was my first time to see it...it wasn't too bad! Anyways i think i will play just one more round, or until i win, of spider solitaire and THEN will i start my paper!

Fun weekend with the In-Laws

So between school, work, and homework I have not had enough time to sleep let alone blog!! i don't have enough time to catch up on the past months but i do have time to report on my way fun weekend! This last weekend we had Bridger's mom, Lisa Field, and sister, Lindsey, come and stay with us. It was such a fun weekend!! We ate delicious food, went shopping, got pedicures, talked, saw the movie "Hairspray", and really got to know each other. It was such a good visit and I am so glad that Lisa and Lindsey came. It is sad to be back to school and work. Well here are some pictures from our weekend:

for some reason the computer wont let me type above this last picture. This is Bridger's newly reupholstered chair. He completed this project all on his own! Impressive is it not? I am so proud of him! McBride sisters you might recognize the form of this chair... it used to be covered in blue fabric, now it is so much more attractive!!

We are having a....

This last week was CRAZY!!!! we moved to our new place which is bigger, has a washer and dryer, is only $25 more per month, and is NOT temporary so it is ours for the next year! Wahoo! It is nice to finally settle into our home.

We picked up our new couch on Saturday from Uncle Keith. The old couch is nice and fits nicely into our living room. Afterwards Mom, Dad, Bridger, and I went to Ikea!! We got 2 new chairs (just like Mary's) the red chairs look so cute with all our red appliances. We now have 4 chairs total, they don't all match each other but it works and still looks cute! we also got a bookshelf!! it was a steal! It was in the "As Is" room and was missing the back so it was only $12 (its normally $60-$80!!!!) yahoo! so we picked up a white piece of ply wood to fit in back and it is as good as new!

We also turned in our medicaid papers and will hopefully qualify! Unfortunately during the month of July we made only about $20 over what they usually qualify, so we are hoping that we still qualify and don't have to re-submit in the next month or so.

I have saved the best news for last so that you all had to read through my blog to find out what we are having! we found out on Thursday that we are having a baby.................................

isn't that exciting! we can't wait! we are probably going to name him Forest (yes his name will be Forest Field but we like it!) I will be putting on our pictures from the ultra sound on my blog hopefully soon, i just didn't bring the pictures to mom and dad's today! we have some really cute pictures. one you can see his little nose! it is so cute! Also during the ultra sound the lady zoomed in and we could see the four chambers of the heart pumping and could watch the valves open and close! it was really AMAZING! Our baby looks healthy and looks to be growing just fine! He has long legs which he obviously did not get from me! Also during the ultra sound he kept moving all over the place and the nurse kept commenting on how much of a mover he was, isn't that cute!? Anyways we are excited and can't wait for him to come!
